Gary Matthews, PhD, CPA/PFS, AIF
Gary Matthews is the CEO and an Investment Advisory Representative of SRI Investing LLC, an independent Registered Investment Advisor registered in New Jersey and providing advisory services nationwide. Gary specializes in socially responsible and sustainable investment strategies for socially and ecologically conscious people and organizations. He has 30+ years as a CPA and financial advisor providing personal, professional financial advice that will see you through good times and challenging times.

Gary began his career as a CPA, tax and financial advisor with Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1979, working with individuals, closely held companies, and not-for-profit organizations. He was promoted to manager in 1983 and remained with the firm as an experienced tax and financial consulting manager until 1987. He went on to become a Partner and Director of Taxes for a Regional CPA firm in Albany, New York, again working primarily with closely held companies, partnerships, and individuals. His practice has specialized in socially responsible and sustainable investment strategies since 2000.
Gary received his PhD in social ethics from Union Theological Seminary in New York, and his MS in accounting from the State University of New York at Albany.
Carolyn McClanahan, M.D., CFP®
Dr. McClanahan began her career as a physician in private practice and emergency medicine. In2000, finding that most financial planners were mainly interested in managing her portfolio and not in providing the advice she needed, she enrolled in the CFP® curriculum to learn more about financial planning. Realizing the similarities between medicineand financial planning, and feeling more empowered by being able to help people plan for their future, Dr. McClanahan decided to make a career change into financial planning.
In addition to her financial life planning practice, Dr. McClanahan speaks nationally on the interplay between health and financial issues, particularly regarding aging, long term care issues, health care costs, and health care reform. She writes for Forbes, CNBC, and Financial Planning Magazine covering issues intersecting money and medicine.
Dr. McClanahan is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA,) the Financial Planning Association, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is quoted regularly in numerous publications such as the WallStreet Journal, New York Times, and the Washington Post. She has also appeared on CNBC, Hardball, AC360, Nightly Business Report, and NPR.
Stacey L. McKinnon, CFP®

Stacey McKinnon joined Morton Capital in 2014. She oversees internal and external operations, including the client experience, service offering, marketing and business operations. Stacey graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in September 2007, with Bachelor of Arts degrees in business economics and religious studies. Stacey is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and holds a Series 65 license.
Kaylyn Melia
Socius Family Office
Kaylyn Melia is the Chief Operating Officer at Socius Family Office. As COO, she leads a team that facilitates reporting, bookkeeping, and bill pay services. Additionally, Kaylyn collaborates with advisors to onboard clients, manage vendor relationships, and oversee technology integrations.
Kaylyn joined Socius in April of 2017. Prior to her current role, she spent 8 years working for Pershing and its affiliates. Most recently, she oversaw 50 registered investment advisory relationships as an Account Manager for Pershing Advisor Solutions.
Kaylyn graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business, and from Liberty University with a Master of Business Administration.

Most recently Gabe launched Muller Consulting Services, drawing on his extensive strategy and operations leadership experience in financial services. Notably he was engaged to revamp marketing and branding strategies along with crafting digital technology and video solutions for one of the top 40 independent advisors in the US according to Barron’s Magazine.
Before starting his own firm, Gabe joined COO Alliance, a professional training and coaching services organization providing COOs with the tools and resources to help give their companies a competitive edge. As City Forum Alliance Regional Chair, he was heavily involved in regional events, aligning members with vetted accountability partners. In prior roles Gabe rapidly advanced from Operations and Client Services Director to COO of a wealth management services firm. As part of the executive team, he engaged cross-functionally to align resources and objectives, ultimately growing the company from $280M to $1.5B in assets under management.
David Oransky, CPA/PFS, CFP®
David Oransky is a CPA/PFS as well as a Certified Financial Planner and Registered Life Planner. After launching his career at a Big Four firm, he found his way into the world of financial planning and investment management as the result of a personal need when his mother died from ovarian cancer. Being an optimizer, he wanted to make sure the very best financial decisions were being made for his family with the distribution of her estate and management of the assets.
Throughout this difficult process David found himself captivated by the world of personal finance. As he learned more he wanted to help others navigate the intimidating world of money. He left Deloitte and joined a prominent wealth management firm in Palo Alto, California where he helped many successful Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. David designed and implemented comprehensive financial plans for his clients, allowing them to enjoy financial independence for the rest of their lives.
In David’s “free time,” you’ll find him immersed in researching everything he can on a variety of financial topics affecting his clients; speaking at national conferences and universities; and elevating the profession by mentoring other young advisors and serving on committees of professional organizations.
Xandra Pendergrass
Xandra Pendergrass is a Shareholder and Chief Operating Officer at Signature. As a member of the Executive Committee, she develops and measures firm strategy, policies, and procedures. She provides oversight and guidance to many departments to ensure the client experience is enhanced while finding efficiencies. Xandra also collaborates with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure the firm follows all regulatory requirements. Since the Brown Advisory combination, she is also responsible for integration of the two firms.
Prior to joining Signature, Xandra was the Operations Manager of the Virginia Beach office of UBS Financial Services. Her industry experience, which spans many different roles, began in 1991.
Xandra graduated from Averett University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and has a Graduate Certificate from University of Virginia in Organizational Leadership. She is a 2010 graduate of the LEAD Hampton Roads program.
Xandra is an active volunteer in the Hampton Roads community. She serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors of CASA, and as a Director of the Virginia Stage Company. Previously, she served on the Board of the Virginia Beach Forum.
Wade D. Pfau, Ph.D., CFA

Wade D. Pfau, Ph.D., CFA, is a Professor of Retirement Income in the New York Life Ph.D. Program for Financial and Retirement Planning at The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. He also serves a Principal and Director of Retirement Research for McLean Asset Management and inStream Solutions.
He holds a doctorate in economics from Princeton University and publishes frequently in a wide variety of academic and practitioner research journals on topics related to retirement income. He hosts the Retirement Researcher website, and is a monthly columnist for Advisor Perspectives, a RetireMentor for MarketWatch, a contributor to Forbes, and an Expert Panelist for the Wall Street Journal. Michael Reed’s avocation is creating a wealth management experience that exceeds clients’ expectations. His passion for designing elegant and effective business operations has allowed him to build and develop nearly a dozen successful companies over the course of his career, as well as hold executive positions with several nonprofit organizations and consult to a wide variety of firms.
Mike founded and managed VIP medical practices in Florida over 18 years before selling to the world-famous Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). He then became director of HSS Florida, reporting directly to the CEO of HSS and influencing the company’s expansion into the southeast region. He next served as executive director and CEO of the North American Spine Foundation, developing international visibility by engaging Congressional and international support for their vision. Mike has a history of success integrating diverse business cultures, creating an environment that encourages professional colleagues to collaborate and thrive.
Mike’s friendship with Peter Raimondi spans three decades. Their connection was defined on a life-affirming medical mission to the Andes Mountain region of Chinchaypuyo, Peru. They have traveled together extensively, including several times throughout Peru. Mike and Peter share the same values and passion for client service. These defining characteristics prompted Mike to join in the founding of Dakota Wealth Management with Peter. Venk Reddy
Zeo Capital Advisors, LLC
Venk founded Zeo in 2009. Prior to Zeo, he was a co-founder of Laurel Ridge Asset Management, a $400m multi-strategy hedge fund, where he managed the credit, distressed and event-driven portfolios. In that role, Venk specialized in asset valuation and identifying opportunities at the intersection of quantitative and fundamental analysis. In addition to his portfolio and investment committee responsibilities, he managed both the credit and technology teams and built the infrastructure underlying the fund’s scalable risk and analysis systems.
Previously, Venk structured derivative products and was head of delta-one trading as a portfolio manager within Bank of America’s Equity Financial Products group (EFP). As one of the first traders hired, he was integrally involved in growing EFP from a startup operation to a business employing 215 people with annual revenues over $700m. Venk also managed investments in event-driven situations, convertible instruments and options at Pine River Capital Management and HBK Investments, where he started his career.
Venk earned a BA in Computer Science with Honors from Harvard University. He currently serves as a trustee for the Katherine Delmar Burke School with roles on the finance, audit and technology committees.
Jandy Rowe
Jandy has nearly 20 years of experience in the industry and joined Wipfli Financial Advisors in June 2001. As Director of Client Service, she works closely with Wipfli Financial’s advisors and client service team members to ensure the firm is consistently delivering an exceptional experience for our clients. Having engaged with multiple areas across the firm, Jandy has a unique perspective on the financial services industry. Her current responsibilities include overseeing the client service team, working closely with the trading, operations and compliance teams — as well as managing the firm’s financial custodian relationships.
Jandy currently works out of our Kansas City office but spends time working with our teams across multiple office locations. Prior to joining Wipfli Financial, Jandy worked with DST Systems, a transfer agent for a large number of mutual funds.
When not in the office, Jandy enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her twoteenagers.
